How does pricing work — per seat or per company?
Flat per company. Each plan includes a set number of users (Starter 2, Growth 10, Scale unlimited), so you're not punished for adding a bookkeeper. AI (Winter) usage is included monthly and metered only on overage.
Do you bill in USD or CAD?
Both. Canadian businesses are billed in CAD, and US (and international) businesses in USD — pick your region with the currency switch above. Your billing currency is set when you subscribe.
Will migrating off QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage 50 be painful?
No — we built the migration to be the easy part. You keep your own chart of accounts, bring your customers, vendors, items, open invoices/bills, and inventory, and the opening balances reconcile to zero before you post anything. Connect QuickBooks/Xero or upload CSVs from any system.
Is the AI an add‑on?
No. Winter is built in on Growth and up, with a monthly AI‑credit allotment included; heavy usage is metered as inexpensive overage rather than a separate seat or product.
Do you support multi‑entity and inventory?
Inventory is included from Growth; multi‑entity consolidation (with eliminations and currency translation) and procurement are on Scale.
Is the ledger GAAP / IFRS compliant?
Yes. Cloture is a true double‑entry system and every posting follows GAAP and IFRS. Control accounts are sub‑ledger‑driven, the trial balance always ties out, and the period‑close gate prevents posting into closed periods.
Is my data secure and backed up?
Yes — sensitive fields like bank details are encrypted at rest, every record is isolated per organization, and the database is backed up daily. Enterprise plans can add SSO/SAML, a custom DPA, and a security review. See our Security page for details.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. Annual billing is about two months free. You can move from monthly to annual any time; annual → monthly takes effect at the end of your term.
